General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 15 Corps, Lt. G en. KJS Dhillon has said that the Indian Army has eliminated 41 terrorists post-Pulwama attack. Earlier in January, the convoy carrying CRPF officials was attacked in which 40 Jawan were martyred.
In a press conference in which DGP, JK Police, Dilbagh Singh was also present, Lt. Gen Hooda said, "This year, total 69 terrorists have been killed and 12 apprehended. Post Pulwama, 41 terrorists have been killed out of which 25 were from the JeM. Out of the 25, 13 were Pakistanis and 13 were A+ Category militants."
Following the death of a 13 year old boy at the hands of the militants, Hooda said that the Kashmiris should question if it is "jihad" or "jihalat"
The GOC, 15 CORPS also said that despite the fact that Pakistan has supported the JeM, Indian Army has continued to suppress JeM. He further assured that the action against Militants will continue with full vigour. He also says that anyone who picks up a gun will be killed.
Lt .Gen Hooda also said that they have seen positive trends in 2018 as the numbers of people joining the ranks of these terror outfits are going down.
